So today was the first day back to school after a much needed Spring Break. I think it was safe to say that break went really well compared to how I had foreseen it to be long before it was even here. I guess some change of events caused this but I can’t complain because these events aren’t bad at all. I know I’ve been slacking at keeping this update with anything over the past few months but I’ve been so busy, so lets just start off with before break.

The week off was well spent with my new girlfriend Shannon that I am pretty lucky to have. Over the past week I’ve been so happy with her and I don’t think I can remember when I’ve been this happy with a girl in a very long time (sorry to those ex’s that actually read this, but i doubt most of them do). She actually treats me like a real boyfriend and not someone who is just there along for the ride. Mom has said in the past that sometimes I spend too much time with a girl, but this time I just laughed and said, “I could careless, she deserves it” and smirked . I can honestly say that my break couldn’t have been any more well spent than it was being with her.

Another highlight of break I guess was now acquiring what is a third job at Circuit City. I’ll be a Sales Associate starting off with Computers and Imaging which should be a new experience selling stuff to people. I’m looking forward to starting this week sometime. With another job comes a car soon enough so I’ve been looking around for something cool. It’s a bit hard finding something that has low insurance, high gas millage, but still looks cool. I guess it all is with being a kid so to speak and wanting something powerful and sporty. I’ll get there someday I guess haha.

It is getting close to the end of the year with something like 6-7 weeks of school left for my senior year. I think it is safe for a lot of us to say that the year flew by while on the other hand at times it felt like it dragged on and on. I can’t wait for summer to come and be done with what seems to be a senseless end of the year. I’m basically done with what I need to graduate and all I need to do is stick out the last few weeks and have some fun with my class of 2008. Should be fun so let the good times roll.

I’ll check back in a few days and try to keep this more updated than I have been.

Ok so I just spent the last few minutes customizing this new layout. I think it fits better than the other one and I was getting bored of seeing the same thing since i relaunched the site. This will do until I redo the site entirely (if I ever get around to that). I’ll do another post later tonight or tomorrow about the past week off and everything. Stay tuned.

I’m not sure how many of you are Thrice fans but I just happen to be a huge fan of their music. If you are fans, then you know about the two discs to The Alchemy Index that are coming out in April: Air & Earth. They put up the one Air track on their myspace that I’ve been waiting for for some time now. Broken lungs is up on the myspace @ myspace.com/thrice so be sure to check it out. It is absolutely amazing I have to say. After reading the lyrics it seems to be talking about a 9/11 conspiracy. If you aren’t a fan of the band or maybe you haven’t given them a listen, try to because they are a great inspiration and their work is amazing.

There are a lot of different ideas about what the whole Alchemy Index 4 disc set is about but I’ll keep my thoughts to myself for this post and post them sometime in the future when I have more time.

Here is the topic for it!

Haven’t posted here in awhile so I figured that I’d check in. Birthday went great with some good friends at the pool hall. Some people jipped out at the last minute but I kinda expected that to happen. Working with the Chicago Chimera writing has been exciting and I’ve met a lot of new people that have appreciated my work. Also I will start to work on the new site coding it heavily this week as I have been slacking on that aspect of things to do. I’ll make a post tomorrow and maybe include a VLog with it cause it’s 1:47 AM and I need sleep.

Well I’ve got enough time on my hands where I can still work on redoing this site so I’ve begun that. I’ll post some previews in a few days once i get something solid up. Stay tuned I may post a VLog later.

So I guess I’m going to put the jetblk.net overhaul back another month maybe cause I’ve been asked to do a website job for someone else recently. It will be an Electronic Sports content site which it will be nice to finally do one of those again. Should be nice to see how it turns out and how people react to it. It’s quite cool to see people really appreciate something you’ve created. It is even better to make sure it represents your kind of work ethic by the way it runs in the end and how easy it is for the users to navigate and execute. We’ll see how it turns out in the end in a month or so. Right now I’m waiting on the design to be sliced up so I can start laying out the base code to the main page template then we’ll go from there and I’ll take over creating page layouts from there along with the PHP backend. Most of that is probably gibberish to most of you so I’ll leave it at that for now until i have a few screen shots to show all of you.

Ok so I’ve decided that I’m going to do a huge upgrade to this site as my next coding and design project. This site will be the home of many users’ content and will be totally user driven. People can have their own blogs, profiles, friends and many more in the future. I’ll also be adding video stuff for those who VLog, which I am getting into slowly but thats a different story for another day . I haven’t started anything big yet but once I do I’ll relocate this blog probably to the Live Spaces account I created. More about that will come as I progress with coding and such.

I’ll post more about this exciting project as I get a bit further along but for now just keep checking out this and I’ll continue to make posts about whats going on.

So I guess it seems like the past few weeks have been the busiest weeks ever. I don’t think there is a time when I’ve been able to truly relax. I think the only thing I’ve really done for myself lately was play my guitar and learn a few new songs. I’ve found comfort in my guitar lately just to forget about everything and jam out to some Thrice or The Receiving End of Sirens. Can’t really go wrong there with those two bands. Soon enough I’ll probably buy some new effects pedals to experiment with.

I really can’t wait to play volleyball again in a league or even club ball at RIT next year. It has been fun to play in gym class with off the wall even though people in there can be quite bad or annoying if they feel the need to not even try. Club should be interesting next year if and when I start to play. Traveling a bit will be fun visiting other colleges to play. Should be a great experience to say the least and loads of fun.

Well, I’m on the go again, but this time it’ll be to get some rest after pounding out an article for the site I write for. I’ll post more details about that in my next post along with a link to the article for anyone who reads this.

Haven’t wrote in here in awhile so I figured I’d make an update. Midterms were this week and they were the biggest waste of my time ever. AP Physics sucked, it sucked a lot. Economics was a joke of a test as it only took 45 minutes out of the mandatory 2 hours we had to stay there for. So all in all, it was the biggest waste of my time ever but oh well, the time off was good and it’s not over yet.

Figured I’d just make this short and sweet and I’ll post a bigger update this weekend. All in all, life has been pretty good and it can only get better from here.
